(hereinafter also referred to as “Company”, “we”, “us”) is committed to respecting and protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy is incorporated by link or reference to any Company’s website, application, or other service (each, a “Service”). This Privacy Policy may be supplemented by additional privacy statements, terms or notices provided to you. MARGOAPPS LLC that owns or administers the Service, as identified therein, is the primary controller of your personal information provided to, or collected by or for, the Service.

By visiting, installing, using, or otherwise accessing the Service, you agree to this Privacy Policy and give an explicit and informed consent to the processing of your personal information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. Please do not install or use the Service if you do not agree to this Privacy Policy.

How MARGOAPPS LLC protects your images and other data

We want to help you understand how we process your personal data, as well your options when it comes to managing it. It’s important that you also understand how we protect your images. 

You’ll find all this information in our privacy policy, which is below.

The following bullets highlight a few key details about the app and our security measures:

  • AfterShot is a photo-editing app. It enhances photos by improving aspects such as image resolution and colors. 
  • AfterShot photo-editing, enhancing, and generative technologies don’t perform facial recognition activities. These technologies also don’t attempt or allow the identification or authentication of people in the images.
  • You retain control over the images you upload, enhance, and generate using AfterShot. We don’t sell, trade, or claim ownership of any of your images.
  • Your images aren’t used to train our AI technologies, unless you explicitly opt in for that.
  • Your images are safeguarded with appropriate security measures, following privacy and data protection laws and industry standards. This includes encryption and cloud storage for enhanced security.

Information We Collect

We collect information about you in the following ways:

  1. from your input through our web forms, app forms and other mechanisms;
  2. through automated technologies;
  3. from third-parties’ sources.

Information Collected Directly from You

The types of personal information that we collect directly from you depends on how you interact with us and the Service and may include:

  • Contact details, such as name, email address, postal address, social media handle and phone number;
  • Account login credentials, such as username and password, password hints and similar security information;
  • Payment information, such as credit or debit card number;
  • Comments, feedback and other information you provide to us, including information that you send to customer support and messages, appointment inquiries and other information that you wish us to share with our exhibitors, visitors, partners and others;

Data From Service Use

Our Service may automatically collect information about how you and your device interact with the Service, including:

  • Computer, device and connection information, such as IP address, Advertising, IDFA, browser type and version, operating system, platform and other software installed on your device, unique device identifier and other technical identifiers, error reports and performance data;
  • Usage data, such as the features you used, the settings you selected, your URL clickstream data, including date and time stamp and referring and exit pages, and pages you visited on the Service; and/or
  • For location-aware Services, your location data.

Data from Third-Parties’ Sources

We also may obtain personal information about you from other third parties, including:

  • Service providers that help us determine a location based on your IP address in order to customise certain products to your location;
  • Partners with which we offer co-branded services or engage in joint marketing activities;
  • Social networks when you grant permission to the Service to access your data on one or more networks; and/or

How We Use Your Information

Our primary goals of using the information that we collect, and store are to provide a better gaming experience, provide the Service to you, improve the Service, contact you, conduct marketing and research activities and create reports for internal use. We maintain servers around the world and your information may be processed on servers located outside of the country where you live. Data protection laws vary among countries, with some providing more protection than others. Regardless of where your information is processed, we apply the same protections described in this Privacy Policy.

Depending on how you interact with us and the Service, we use your personal information to:

  • Provide, activate and manage your access to and use of the Service;
  • Process and fulfil a request, order, download, payment or other transaction;
  • Ship you prizes;
  • Provide customer, technical, product and other support and to help keep the Service working, safe and secure;

  • interaction with other players and/or your friends via social networks such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Tik Tok, etc.
  • provision of IT and related services.

Some of your personal data is collected and shared in order to provide external analytical services by the following companies:

The collection of such data occurs through the Software Development Kit (SDK) built into our products. We do not gain access to such data and do not store it on our servers. The above companies assume full responsibility for the storage and processing of such data.

Your personal information may be stored and processed in your region or another country where MARGOAPPS LLC and its service providers maintain servers and facilities. We take steps, including through contracts, intended to ensure that the information continues to be protected wherever it is located in a manner consistent with the standards of protection required under applicable law.

Grounds for Processing

When we collect from you any personal information within the scope of European data protection laws, we do so:

  • where necessary to provide the Service, fulfil a transaction or otherwise perform a contract with you or at your request prior to entering into a contract;
  • where necessary for our compliance with applicable law or other legal obligation;
  • where necessary for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest;
  • where necessary in order to protect your or another person’s vital interests;
  • where applicable, with your consent; and/or
  • as necessary to operate our business, protect the security of our systems, customers, and users, detect or prevent fraud, enable our customers to comply with legal obligations, or fulfil our other legitimate interests as described in the “Information We Collect”, “How We Use Your Information” and “Sharing of Your Information” clauses above, except where our interests are overridden by your privacy rights.

Where we rely on your consent to process personal information, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time, but in any case, not affecting the handling of your personal information being undertaken up until such withdrawal, and where we rely on legitimate interests, you may have the right to object to our processing.

Cookies

We may use cookies, pixel tags and other technologies (hereinafter referred to as “Technologies”) to automatically collect information through the Service. We use Technologies that are essentially small data files placed on your computer, mobile phone, tablet, or other devices (referred to collectively as a “device”) that allow us to record certain pieces of information whenever you visit or interact with our sites, services, applications, messaging, and tools and to recognize you across devices.

You can control cookies through your browser’s settings and other tools. However, if you block certain cookies, you may not be able to register, login, or access certain parts or make full use of the Service. 

Opt Out
You have the right to opt out of certain uses and disclosures of your personal information. When you have consented to MARGOAPPS LLC processing of your personal information, you may withdraw that consent at any time and opt out to further processing by contacting support@margoapps.com Even if you opt out, we may still collect and use anonymized, non-personal information regarding your activities on our Service.

Please also note that certain records, for example, those relating to payments or customer service matters, will be held for legal and accounting purposes. If you have sent content through or posted content on the Service, we may not be able to delete it.

You can customise and manage your communications preferences and other settings when you register with the Service, by updating your account features and preferences, by using the ‘opt- out’ or unsubscribe mechanism or other means provided within the communications that you receive, or by contacting support@margoapps.com. We reserve the right to notify you of changes or updates to the Service whenever necessary.

Children’s Privacy

Our Services are not directed nor is it intended for use by children (for the purpose of definition a “child” is an individual that is under the age defined by applicable law that is for European Economic Area is under the age of 16 and for the U.S. under the age of 13). We do not knowingly process a child’s information, if you have reasons to believe that a child has shared any information with us, please contact us via support@margoapps.com.

Data Retention

We retain your personal information collected as described in this Privacy Policy for as long as you use our Service or as necessary to fulfil the purpose(s) for which it was collected, provide our Service, resolve disputes, establish legal defence, conduct audits, pursue legitimate business purposes, enforce our agreements, and comply with applicable laws.

If your personal information is inaccurate or incomplete, you have the right to require us to correct it.
  • Right to Deletion of your Personal Information or Right to Restriction of Processing: you may have the right to require us to delete your personal information or to restrict of processing of your personal information.
  • Right to Object: you have the right to object to the processing of your personal information.
