How MARGOAPPS LLC protects your images and other data
We want to help you understand how we process your personal data, as well your options when it comes to managing it. It’s important that you also understand how we protect your images.

The following bullets highlight a few key details about the app and our security measures:
- AfterShot is a photo-editing app. It enhances photos by improving aspects such as image resolution and colors.
- AfterShot photo-editing, enhancing, and generative technologies don’t perform facial recognition activities. These technologies also don’t attempt or allow the identification or authentication of people in the images.
- You retain control over the images you upload, enhance, and generate using AfterShot. We don’t sell, trade, or claim ownership of any of your images.
- Your images aren’t used to train our AI technologies, unless you explicitly opt in for that.
- Your images are safeguarded with appropriate security measures, following privacy and data protection laws and industry standards. This includes encryption and cloud storage for enhanced security.

We collect information about you in the following ways:
- from your input through our web forms, app forms and other mechanisms;
- through automated technologies;
- from third-parties’ sources.
Information Collected Directly from You
The types of personal information that we collect directly from you depends on how you interact with us and the Service and may include:
- Contact details, such as name, email address, postal address, social media handle and phone number;
- Account login credentials, such as username and password, password hints and similar security information;

The collection of such data occurs through the Software Development Kit (SDK) built into our products. We do not gain access to such data and do not store it on our servers. The above companies assume full responsibility for the storage and processing of such data.
Your personal information may be stored and processed in your region or another country where MARGOAPPS LLC and its service providers maintain servers and facilities. We take steps, including through contracts, intended to ensure that the information continues to be protected wherever it is located in a manner consistent with the standards of protection required under applicable law.
Grounds for Processing
When we collect from you any personal information within the scope of European data protection laws, we do so:
- where necessary to provide the Service, fulfil a transaction or otherwise perform a contract with you or at your request prior to entering into a contract;

Children’s Privacy
Our Services are not directed nor is it intended for use by children (for the purpose of definition a “child” is an individual that is under the age defined by applicable law that is for European Economic Area is under the age of 16 and for the U.S. under the age of 13).
